Experimental video performance hardware, using various input devices (HDMI input, digital or analog cameras, senors, etc) and output devices (various screens or displays, projectors, lights) to create a modular video performance system thats playful, reconfigurable and engaging.

The system is built on Raspberry PI hardware, CSI cameras with various lenses, and CSI HDMI input hardware, Adafruit backpack displays and camcorder viewfinder CRTs hacked to take analog input. OpenFrameworks software powers video input and output, with minimal processing within each 'box'. The goal was to mimic a guitar pedal type interface, where each 'box' had its own functional purpose, could be re-arranged and played as live instruments.

This project was developed at the Experimental Television Center toolbuilders residency.
